Conservative-voting areas are always identifiable as the ones with the rail connections that their party professes to despise, and long ago dismantled everywhere else.

But of that, another time.

"Money no object," said Cameron when those areas were flooded. And he delivered on it.

We, on the other hand, could all drown, for all that he cared. And then they wonder why the North hates them.

  1. The new seats of Consett and Barnard Castle, and Sedgefield and Yarm, would be winnable by the Tories if they weren't determined to persecute the North. Similar cases in Yorkshire and the North West. It's their own fault.

  2. David David writes for the Mail On Sunday "Don't insult us Prime Minister, I'm voting out."

He joins Liam Fox and a long list of others who have declared in favour of withdrawal.

They should be joining UKIP, the only major party that favours withdrawal and speaks for their views on so much else besides.

UKIP's only MP is about to leave it. Join UKIP, indeed!
