I am normally wary of people who play up the "salt of the earth" side of the North. Such projection to the rest of the country and to the wider world has bad as well as good effects, and many of the former are very bad indeed.
But I fully sympathise with those who are less than impressed that Luciana Berger, the North London princess aged about 12 who has been given the safe Labour seat of Liverpool Wavertree merely because she at least used to have sex with Euan Blair, has been proving her down-to-earth Scouse credentials by borrowing her brother's car for constituency use, sending back to her parents' palace the one with the license plate LU5IANA.
Come back, Derek Hatton, all is forgiven...?
Vote for Ricky Tomlinson. Shame about the SLP generally. But, as with Stephen Twigg in Liverpool West Derby, this completely ridiculous insult to the electorate simply cannot be permitted to happen.

Quite the reverse.
ReplyDeleteIf Ian Lavery can be given a safe Labour seat, then why bother having the SLP? To which the answer came, "Luciana Berger".
Under 3000 votes seperate the Lib Dems from Labour in Liverpool Wavertree.. probably not classed as "safe".
