An observation from one of yesterday's comments deserves to be a full post: it is scandalous that a hurricane can hit British territory (the Turks and Caicos Islands), and be on its way to one of the Queen's Realms (The Bahamas), but all the media attention here is on America and Cuba.
Even ABC's World News managed to report from the Turks and Caicos Islands, interviewing members of the British public there. But from our own media, nothing, not one word. Auntie, do you even know what that first B in BBC stands for? And we all know which side you would be on if either America or Cuba ever went to war with Britain, but what about if they ever went to war with each other?
