One Neville Padgett, of the Washington East ward, is vexing Sunderland City Council, to which he lately failed to be elected in the Labour interest, by taking up matters with its officers and even attempting to hold surgeries, as if he were a Councillor.
For free. For no allowance whatever. Since, of course, he lost the election.
So, if elected next time, would he continue to do this work for free?
