Comment Is Still Free Here

I have been banned from The Guardian for a premoderated, although now removed, comment under Yvette Cooper's article, explaining why Wales and the North voted Leave and how Brexit can meet our needs. Some things, you are just not allowed to say.

So here is another one. I am disgusted, although of course I am not remotely surprised, at people who were no doubt sincerely moved by I, Daniel Blake, yet who, only days later, are gushing over Cooper, of all people. She it was who abolished Income Support, and she it was who inflicted the Work Capability Assessment upon a grateful nation.

Another hung Parliament is coming, however, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it. It has become a local commonplace that I am on 30-30-30 with Labour and the Conservatives here at North West Durham, so that any one of us could be the First Past the Post. I will stand for this seat, if I can raise the £10,000 necessary to mount a serious campaign. Please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
