In Krasnoarmesk teachers from the Ukrainian Peacebuilding School funded by the Bristish Embassy in Kiev lead Ukraine Army Officers in an ideological lecture about Ukrainian Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera.
The event was an evening dedicated to the honouring the memory of Stepan Bandera, reported in the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the armed forces of Ukraine from Kharkiv and stationed in Krasnoarmesk the capital of Ukrainian Donetsk.
To the meeting also came local teachers and librarians with the guest speaker at the meeting coming from “The Committee of State Ideology” an organisation run by the Executive Committee of the Ukraine Rada.
Krasnoarmeysk is located 50 kilometers from the contact line in the forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic who have been waging a 2 year struggle against the Neo-Nazi Junta in Kiev.
In May 2015, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law of decommunisation in which Ukraine’s largest political party the Communist Party has been banned and the Soviet history of Ukraine is being replaced by a history based on the ideology of Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera.
