The BBC is left-wing if your definition of the Left is Tony Blair, whom Murdoch enthusiastically supported and who enthusiastically supported Murdoch. But not otherwise.
As for Stephen Doughty, he would not have resigned at all if he had not been offered the telly on which to do it. Needy little man, pathetic in both senses of the word.
