Sherlock's London is all-white, because the programme was made months ago, and as of today everyone in Britain was supposed to be Bulgarian or Romanian.
I have seen tomorrow's Daily Mail front page: "UNGRATEFUL GYPSIES: Millions of Bulgarians and Romanians Snub Britain".
Romanians and Bulgarians were being interviewed on the radio today. They
said that they could not afford to live on British benefits. Thus is
our remaining Welfare State seen in and from the Eastern Balkans.
I
doubt that there are foodbanks in Romania or Bulgaria. I know for a
fact that neither country is in receipt of Red Cross food parcels. Their
citizens are not coming to this Third World basket case. As we now see.
