A Very Happy New Year to one and all.
It is 20 years since Pulp Fiction, Forest Gump, Four
Weddings and a Funeral, Parklife, Definitely Maybe, and the death of John Smith.
That’s right, brothers and sisters.
Twenty years.
"Exonerated" (His Honour Judge Nathan Adams, Durham Crown Court, 8 May 2025). Two-time political prisoner. Beaten up in prison, so I fear only God. Activist, journalist, hymn-writer, emerging thinktanker, aspiring novelist, "tribal elder", 2019 parliamentary candidate for North West Durham, Shadow Leader of the Opposition, "Speedboat", "The Cockroach".
The only one of these movies I saw was Pulp Fiction, which was OK.
ReplyDeleteYou can make an strong argument that there has been less change in the last twenty years (1994 - 2014) than in any twenty year period since 1848. All the trends were set in stone, seemingly immobile, after NAFTA/ the euro/ the handover from Deng.
