ReplyDeleteDavid Cameron is not Foreign Secretary you ignoarant prick. No wonder Durham students laugh at you.
ReplyDeleteEven if they did, then they could laugh away at a President of a Senior Common Room. But they don't.
ReplyDeleteRemind me, how did your pursuit of a similarly named but rather lowlier position turn out? And what sort of Durham postgrad calls himself a student?
Please do not swear on my blog.
And back on topic, please.
Ming, very good point.
Be fair, David, JCRs are so vulgar that they hold contested elections.
ReplyDeleteSCR Presidents just emerge. The old school, dear boy. You just emerged, it was in every sense no contest. You have a history of that, and it is far from over yet.
This "Durham postgrad" probably says "uni". What is the old place coming to? Something must be done.
I see the BPA website's been revamped, and moved well up your blog roll.
ReplyDeleteThis is bad news. Will there be a Gulf of Sidra incident, paralleling the Gulf of Tonkin incident, also followed by escalation? It looks increasingly likely, unfortunately.

I was not privileged to have an education up to postgrad level as I left school at sixteen but I do know how to spell 'ignorant'.
Also, it is quite clear to the reasonably intelligent reader that:
'David Cameron, resign.' and
'Ronnie Campbell for Foreign Secretary.'
are two separate sentences referring to two separate issues. I hope this chap is not a postgrad in English grammar (or should I say - grammer?).
"And what sort of Durham postgrad calls himself a student?"
ReplyDeleteAll postgrads are students, no?
We would never have dreamt of using that word. Earlier again, some of us were even taught to say, "I am not a student, I am an undergraduate". Like being a postgraduate, it is an entirely different state of mind.
