It turns out that Transylvania University is a real institution. It is in Kentucky. And a middle-ranking academic there has promised to keep a beady eye on Nick Sandmann, the 18-year-old freshman of whom he is clearly terrified. 

The 18-year-old freshman who already has an executive position on the staff of the United States Senate Majority Leader. As if he cared about the opinion of an Associate Professor who was already older than he will be when he is the Republican Party's nominee for President of the United States.

Corbynism was never quite able to become this kind of network, in which very young, and politically very ambitious, men used the connections made possible by the Internet simply to bypass liberal academia and its feeders in schools. But Cummingsism is well on the way to it. And here on the Left, there is time yet. We just need to go about it in the right way.
