Australians debate the monarchy fiercely, but the whole Harry and Meghan thing seems to have made Canadians aware of the fact that they had any such institution in the first place.
They had quite forgotten that it was there, and they are unhappy enough to reminded of it even before that pair has taken up residence on their soil by means of questionable legality.
That, moreover, is before political pressure in Britain compels them to pay for the privilege of hosting this whole carry on, as it will certainly do in very short order.
