Over The Threshold?

Keir Starmer declined to press further charges against John Worboys. He promised to send “benefit cheats” to prison for 10 years; so much for saving money there. He refused to press charges in relation to the deaths of Jean Charles de Menezes and Ian Tomlinson. He has been central to the persecution of Julian Assange.

Jess Phillips has accused British Pakistanis of importing wives for their disabled sons, and she became famous by claiming to have been rude and abusive towards Britain’s most prominent black politician. Black And Minority Ethnic People are already physically unsafe with Boris Johnson as Prime Minister, and we ought seriously to consider leaving Britain if Phillips were to become the Leader of the Opposition.

There does not need to be a Leader of the Opposition opposed to investment in the former Red Wall merely because the Government favours it and Tony Blair never did it. Nor does there need to be a Leader of the Opposition in favour of bombing Iran merely because the Government opposes it and Blair would have done it. If Blair wants a role, then, rather than his putting up proxies, his party will be requiring a parliamentary candidate at Sedgefield.

No matter who had become the Leader of the Labour Party or anything else, I will be standing for Parliament again here at North West Durham next time, so please give generously. In any event, please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
