The immediate priority of the British pro-life movement is the election of Rebecca Long-Bailey as Leader of the Labour Party.
It would be a stretch to describe her as one of us, but her election would mean that the debate on abortion had been reopened, and that by means of a significant defeat for the other side.

Even if she doesn't win, the Momentum endorsement, the Unite nomination and the strong showing among the members will be the answer to the people who think they've turned Labour into the Democrats, they need to watch less of The West Wing.
