If Simon Danczuk really has received a death threat, then I expect that it was from the Labour Right, to which he is now a monumental embarrassment.

No one in this country has received more death threats than George Galloway. There has in fact been at least one attempt on his life, resulting in his hospitalisation. While he was a sitting member of the House of Commons.

But there has never been the slightest media attention. There has never been an arrest. There has never even been any increase in Police protection.
