Kevin Rudd has appointed, as Federal Minister Minister for Ageing and Mental Health, Senator Jacinta Collins of Victoria.
Senator Collins has also been appointed Deputy Leader of Government Business in the Senate.
She is totally pro-life, and a firm believer that marriage can only ever be the union of one man and one woman.
How fortunate are the people of Victoria, who will be able to vote to re-elect Senator Collins in 2014 and Senator John Madigan in 2017.
