The Salafi of al-Nour supported the coup. Saying all that needs to be said about the coup. They knew that it would lead to events such as we are now seeing.
"You tried the Brotherhood," they would say, "and look how that turned out for you. Peaceful and democratic means do not work." Exactly that is now happening.

Morsi would either have upped his game, or else lost the next Election to some coalition of liberals and Leftists.
As it is, the old regime (which was and is no more Coptic-friendly than the Brotherhood one, and possibly less so) is back. Until such time as it is violently overthrown by al-Nour.
