By far the best week's television listings are in the Saturday edition of the Daily Mail. And I always have a look through the paper. Hell, it's a lot better than The Times. This week, Simon Heffer refers to UKIP's policies as "bearing an astonishing resemblance to the Tory party's when Mrs Thatcher ran it".
So there we have it: UKIP's policies are the continuation of the Single European Act, the Anglo-Irish Agreement, the Exchange Rate Mechanism, the Police and Criminal Evidence Act, the Children Act, the replacement of O-levels with GCSEs, and the destruction of the economic basis of paternal authority.
Don't take my word for it. Take Simon Heffer's.
