Attitude Problem

Johann Hari was on Dateline London mouthing off about "an international criminal conspiracy". Funny how that nefarious operation has attracted the attention of no Police Force on earth. Is every single one of them controlled by the Pope, or the Jesuits, or Opus Dei, or someone? I think we should be told.

Hari is Senior Contributing Editor of Attitude, which is apparently a lifestyle magazine for men who think it terribly interesting that they happen to be inclined towards homosexual acts. Regular readers will not be surprised to learn that I have never seen a copy of Attitude and have not the slightest idea where to purchase one.

So I only ask: Attitude does not, does it, contain descriptions of sexual acts between men and teenage boys? Or pictures of suspiciously young-looking male persons in states of undress but nevertheless accompanied by indications of status as, for example, schoolboys, or Scouts, or indeed altar boys? Or advertisements for DVDs with such themes? Surely not...

    No. It's not that kind of magazine. Not surprising that you don't know, since you've never seen a copy and don't know where to purchase them (answer: a newsagent).

    And I trust that it does not print letters or articles calling for yet further reductions in the age of consent?

    I too get my copy at the newsagent! It's next to mags such as Esquire, FHM and GQ.

    I've never seen any letters calling/asking for the age of consent to be lowered or any photos of young men dressed as school boys, scouts etc etc.

    I have seen a young lady dressed in a school uniform on page three of The Sun!
