All At Sea

Never has it been clearer that we do not need to pay for the privilege of hosting a small part of someone else's nuclear arsenal even though that someone else is now committed to a world without such weapons.

And never has it been clearer that we do not need the neocons' unified EU defence "capability" under overall American command but day-to-day German control, with no place for an abolished RAF, but including a merged British and French Navy run by Sarkozy.

For never has it been clearer that what we need are ships.
