Look at the lengths to which those who impose this will go in order to protect their own children from it. Says it all, really.
And fair play to Alan Johnson for a very successful life, but since when was he an expert on exams? In the course of that life, he has sat very few exams, and he has passed even fewer, if any. He is in fact a standing, and shining, contradiction of the very same examination obsession that he inexplicably defends.
