Exactly as we told you would happen, Wes Streeting is preparing to hand over to Peter Thiel's Palantir the Holy Grail of the world's healthcare data, those of our own dear National Health Service.

Unless he truly believed that obesity caused unemployment, and indeed even if he did, then round and round the money goes, with none of it coming to us. If this understandably all got too much you, then you could look forward to waking up in your psychiatric bed to find Liz Kendall at the foot of it, screaming at you to get your workshy, lead-swinging backside into gear.
This is not a right-wing Labour Government in any historically normal sense. Headed by a man with no politics and who had never been a member of any party 11 years ago, it is the vehicle for a faction that lucratively defines itself against whatever the Left supports. If Jeremy Corbyn would be in favour of anything, then this Government is opposed to it. Of course, that includes the NHS.
