Safeguarding Standards

This is your weekly reminder that there has been a liberal coup in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. In the last week, all talk of a "sex party" has been abandoned, leaving only the suggestion that there may have been a social event that had breached the lockdown. Some sort of drinks party. Well, there was a lot of that about.

If there really has been an allegation to the Police against Bishop Robert Byrne, then it was of a single instance of sexual assault by one adult upon another, and it was made before Christmas. This is now February, so has His Lordship been charged? Or even arrested? But as with the nonexistent "sex party", and as with the allegation that drove Canon McCoy to suicide, the damage is done.

It says everything that needs to be said about the Diocesan Safeguarding Office that it uses the blog of "Bishop" Pat Buckley as its sewer of choice. But there is no closer relationship than that between the liberal wing of the Catholic Church, and the right wings of the British Labour Party, the American Democratic Party, the Australian Labor Party, and so on. Evil. Pure, unadulterated evil. Including in prison, I have never come across the like. Still, speaking of Australia, Cardinal Pell's funeral was magnificent, with the faithful waving their Rosaries at the lying, discredited demonstrators. Our Lady of Victories, indeed. Brook no compromise, and the same will happen here.

Disregard the possibility that any of this may be genuine, and do not allow any development whatever to dissuade or distract you. Pray for the repose of the soul of Canon McCoy. Pray for Bishop Byrne. And console yourself that the Evil Ones may not be praying, but ought at least to be hoping, that there will be another liberal Pope after this ailing 86-year-old, because otherwise the Oxford Oratory would be as well-connected as it was possible to be, and there would be hell to pay for what they had done. As there should be.
