Making The Cut

A tax cut for whom?

Disproportionately concentrated in the constituencies that the Conservatives have to hold, 42 per cent of adults have incomes that do not reach the income tax threshold of £12,570.

Two out of every five adults, many millions of them in full-time work, are getting by on less than £1050 per month. Every one of them has the vote. Sooner or later, they will have someone to vote for.
