A Thousand Trades?

Jess Phillips said that she would resign if Tom Watson did. Has she done so? And has anyone ever bothered to check her claim to have left the Labour Party over Iraq? Her subsequent progress does not bear it out.

Still, hasn't the liberation of Iraq turned out well? Ah, the Spirit of 1989, so intoxicating to people who had, and who sometimes still do have, no idea what had really happened at the end of the Cold War, or indeed at any stage of it.

To return to Birmingham, is Roger Godsiff's official Labour opponent a supporter, as he is, of assisted suicide? If so, then vote for Godsiff, who upholds the principle that parents are the first educators of their children, and whom the Labour Party has therefore refused to endorse as a parliamentary candidate.

Another hung Parliament is coming, however, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it. After nearly 30 years of suggestion, speculation, and even a sort of preparation, I am standing for Parliament here at North West Durham.

The crowdfunding page is here, and buy the book here. Please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
