Yellowhammer? We Are Always Hammered

“Low income groups will be disproportionately affected by any price rises in food and fuel”? Low income groups are always disproportionately affected by everything. That was why they voted Leave. And that, in turn, was why Leave won.

The Brexit Party, which is an imagined version of Thatcherism in exile, does not understand this. The Conservatives do, and they despise it. The Liberal Democrats profoundly disagree with it. And the Labour position is, and will remain, to negotiate a different deal before campaigning for that different deal to be rejected in a referendum. Just leave that one hanging there.

Another hung Parliament is coming, however, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it. A new party is now in the process of registration. After nearly 30 years of suggestion, speculation, and even a sort of preparation, I will stand for Parliament here at North West Durham. The crowdfunding page is here, and buy the book here. Please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
