Sent To Try Us

The smoking gun was brought to court today, and it was so dodgy that my trial, which is to last four days despite supposedly being an open and shut case, is to begin at Durham Crown Court at 10 o'clock on Monday 9th March 2020.

The prosecution barrister was given the shortest of shrift when he tried to suggest moving it to Newcastle. They really do know that they have lost. But March 2020. I was arrested in March 2017. Three years. Three. Years.

With what they now more or less admit is no possibility of a conviction, having submitted a handful of pages of obvious rubbish set out in computer gobbledegook that it will take six months to show is worthless, and having tried and failed to have the trial moved to somewhere where I still had to buy my own pint.

Between now and then, however, another hung Parliament is coming, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it. A new party is now in the process of registration.

After nearly 30 years of suggestion, speculation, and even a sort of preparation, I will stand for Parliament here at North West Durham. The crowdfunding page is here, and buy the book here. Please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
