Ministry of Unsound

Bringing back the Ministry of Labour is an excellent idea, and it has been Labour Party policy since 12th January 2018.

Today, though, Jeremy Corbyn announced it to the TUC.

Such is the impact that has been made by the only Shadow Minister of Labour since 12th January 2018, the Chosen One, our very own Trigger.

Until today, even the TUC had never heard of this proposal. Nor, presumably, of Laura Pidcock. Of whom it has probably still not heard, even now.

Good luck to the workers in need of a Ministry of Labour, then, as they look to her to create it against the intransigence of most Labour and almost all other MPs.

Another hung Parliament is coming, however, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it. A new party is now in the process of registration.

After nearly 30 years of suggestion, speculation, and even a sort of preparation, I will stand for Parliament here at North West Durham.

The crowdfunding page is here, and buy the book here. Please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.

  1. Nothing that mattered at this year's TUC was done in the main hall. You should have been at the LeFT meeting: Arthur Scargill, Eddie Dempsey, Alex Gordon, you would have been right at home.
