Andriy Parubiy visited the House of Commons yesterday, and he is visiting the Scottish Parliament today. He is the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament.
In 1991, he founded the Social-National Party of Ukraine, the predecessor of Svoboda. The SNPU restricted membership to ethnic Ukrainians (not always an easy thing to define), and it used the Wolfsangel as its symbol.
Today, one of its founders is the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, and he is received as an honoured guest at Westminster and at Holyrood.
But remember, Russia is the problem.
