At long last, some coverage of the working-class Suffragettes who had to fight on for another 10 years after the re-enfranchisement of wealthy women following a hiatus of 86 years.

If working-class men were given the vote as a reward for their service in the First World War, then why did they get it nine months before the War ended? 

They were not. At once heavily armed and thoroughly angered by the War, they had been about to take it. For all practical purposes, they did take it.
