Those words would more appropriately be delivered by one or more of the Teaching Assistants.

What used to happen when the old City Council wasn't Labour controlled, so the Mayor wasn't Labour?

DeleteThe old city council was always Labour controlled until the Lib Dems finally got a majority. At that point, Gordon Brown abolished the city council, even though the Durham voters had said this was not what they wanted. Labour democracy in the north east. One reason among many why I have taken so long to join the Labour party
