A Very Good Job?

The least of this country's present worries is a three-day visit from Donald Trump, who has so far proved to be the most pacific President of the United States in living memory.

The slow-motion murder of Julian Assange is apparently being timed to climax while Trump is in Britain, but there is no suggestion that he himself has any hand in that gesture of good will.

The blood-drenched Barack Obama also tried to interfere in British politics, telling people to vote Remain, and how did that work out?

Trump has probably killed what little chance Boris Johnson ever had of becoming Prime Minister, but that was never very much, since candidates to lead the Conservative Party have to get past its MPs first, and most of those hate Johnson with a burning passion.

Trump, of course, knows all about the collusion against him between MI6 and the supporters of Hillary Clinton, whose election would have caused a world war over Syria by now.

The same MI6 that is well into its steady coronation of the formerly Labour, and once nearly Lib Dem, Remainer, Rory Stewart. Do not bet on anything so vulgar as an election for the position of Leader of the Conservative Party.

Another hung Parliament is coming, however, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it. I need £150 as soon as possible, to register a new party.

And even without that, it has become a local commonplace that I am on 30-30-30 with Labour and the Conservatives here at North West Durham, so that any one of us could be the First Past the Post.

I will stand for this seat, if I can raise the £10,000 necessary to mount a serious campaign. Please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
