Useless Articles

Only two of the CUKs voted against the triggering of Article 50, and Chuka Umunna was not one of them. It is no wonder that even Michael Heseltine is going to vote Lib Dem on Thursday.

Thursday's crushing of Change UK will be the verdict on its Brexit strategy, if it can be so described, as surely as it will be the verdict on the existence or otherwise of Labour anti-Semitism, which is the fiction that precludes the expulsion of Margaret Hodge from the Labour Party.

The obsessively anti-Corbyn barrister Adam Wagner, who is currently compiling a dossier for the Israeli Embassy's fake charity "The Campaign Against Antisemitism", has just been appointed to the Equality and Human Rights Commission. So sod that.

Another hung Parliament is coming, however, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it. It has become a local commonplace that I am on 30-30-30 with Labour and the Conservatives here at North West Durham, so that any one of us could be the First Past the Post. I will stand for this seat, if I can raise the £10,000 necessary to mount a serious campaign. Please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
