In many ways, Peter Hitchens's column and the Morning Star are parts of the alternative rather than the mainstream media. Yet everywhere else that might be included in the latter, the silence has been deafening about the OPCW's devastating leaked report into Douma.
That silence confirms that that report is both genuine and accurate. We bombed Syria on the strength of a lie, and not even Jeremy Corbyn actively opposed that bombing. Another hung Parliament is coming, however, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it.
It has become a local commonplace that I am on 30-30-30 with Labour and the Conservatives here at North West Durham, so that any one of us could be the First Past the Post.
