Labour now needs to bring the humiliation of David Cameron and the outright lies of George Osborne to the Division Lobbies of the House of Commons.
The will of that House, for which every Labour MP voted, is already a real-terms cut in the British contribution to the EU Budget.
A motion reiterating that while ruling out any payment in part or in whole of the latest surcharge, not merely before a given date but at any time, now needs to be tabled as a matter of the utmost urgency.
Notice that the Government's argument to the EU is that the recovery does not really exist. Out of Osborne's own mouth.
