Remember Maastricht as you check out tonight's list of votes in the Aye lobby, the wrong motion though this is. The Labour lot might be smaller (there are fewer Labour MPs to begin with), but it will be much more respectable, and the Labour abstentions might well be even more so.
Whereas the Tories will be the new generation of Tony Marlows and Teresa Gormans. Expect to see them all over the telly between now and 2015, when most of them will lose their seats. But don't expect them to be taken seriously. Or to deserve to be.
