No Fool Like An Old Fool?

If only this were that simple. In reality, Blair knows exactly what he is saying. He still wants us in the euro for the same reasons that Thatcher wanted us in the Single Market.

    Does anyone have a copy of Blair's election statement when he first stood for Parliament? His position on the EU at that time would make interesting reading now. Wasn't there something in it about coming OUT of the EU? Politicians/hoops/ambition......

    His election address stated that "We’ll negotiate a withdrawal from the EEC which has drained our natural resources and destroyed jobs".
