Antemurale Christianitatis
A fascinating piece on From Our Own Correspondent, setting the scene for this week's Crossing Continents. The way in was Medjugorje, of which the less said, the better. But the real story was that, of the numerous flags flying there, none is that of the state in which it is located. Truly, there can be no one on earth more rueful than the Croats of Bosnia-Herzegovina, the land that Izetbegovic and Ganic built.
