Für Gott, Fürst und Vaterland

Due to recent events, there have been some remarks on the fact that Liechtenstein’s National Anthem has the same tune as our own. More than that, though, the present heiress to the Stuart claim to the Thrones of England, Scotland and Ireland is married to the present heir to the Throne of Liechtenstein, making their eldest son (and they have one) next in line to both.

    Of course Liechtenstein is one of the worlds leading money laundering nation.
    Jacobites "they havent gone away you know" find Liechtenstein embarrassing.
    The current non-claimant to the Three Kingdoms (sic) is actually the Duke Francis in (not of) Bavaria....who to his credit finds modern day Jacobites a pain in his royal bottom.

    His father used to write them hilarious letters begging them to stop.

    His daughter is married to the Crown Prince of Liechtenstein, and they have issue. Born in London, in fact.

    Indeed ....I am a member of three Jacobite "groups".
    Presumably the Liechtenstein anthem does not refer to the Scots and Papists.
