What It's Really All About

In a comment on an earlier post, Robert writes:

"What this is about is not getting people back to work, because we have known for years we have areas of the country which have no work. It's about reducing my benefits from £128 a week to £60. That's why the retraining could be updating a CV, because they know you have no chance.

But a real serious worry is that people who go through the new work based test if they pass this able to work, the Disability Living Allowance will be reviewed as well.

The idea now being put around is that the council would return to the old 1970s in which disabled people were given jobs within the NHS or DWP or council. Your job would in fact be sod all, you'd get paid but would be expected to sit in a council van or make tea or things which morons can do.

But if you think this is not serious boy your wrong, it's about removing the means tested income support which will affect many."
