Our Day Is Coming

A mixed-race President of the United States.

And not in the sense that all African-Americans as the term is ordinarily used, like all Afro-Caribbeans, are mixed-race really.

So when will anyone say that that is what he is? When will he say that that is what he is?

And when can we expect a mixed-race person in either House of the Mother of Parliaments? The last one was Oona King, and she insisted that she was black despite having a Jewish mother and an African-American (and therefore part-white) father, making her, like me, more than half white.

Meanwhile, I wonder if anyone who sincerely did not know that he was mixed-race, probably from the South, has ever been President already.
