Sir David Frost told a great story on The Daily Show, of Richard Nixon saying that he would hate to be a Russian leader because "they never know when they're being taped".
But I would love to know if there is any truth to the claim, which I have heard several times, that the Watergate Building was merely leased by the Democratic Party, and actually owned by the NUM, with Arthur Scragill and Mick McGahey among its trustees.
Is there?
