Beyond Shame

Haringey Social Services Department has now been criticised even by Harriet Harman, whose old links to the old Paedophile Information Exchange will, I can now tell you for a fact, be set out in detail by a national broadsheet newspaper if and when she ever contests the Labour Leadership.

  1. Why can't they be set out in detail here? Why on earth haven't they been already, if they exist?

  2. I have done so in a later post.

No one who decided these things thought that it was a problem in those days.

Hell, a future New Labour Minister for Children, Margaret Hodge, led the council that let pimps stay overnight in its care homes on the grounds that they were "boyfriends", and that the victims had a "right to express their sexuality". (At the same time, Hodge was advertising in 'The Lady' for a nanny.)

This sort of thing was of course linked to radical feminism, Trotskyism, &c, &c, &c - all the things that took over the Labour Party and created New Labour.

But this is the one that would really catch the public imagination. And when it does, the dominoes really will start to fall...
