Which can be read, either from an autocue or even (believe it or not) from notes, if you stand at the podium. Otherwise, both it and you look silly.
Oh well, at least he wore a tie.

Is this Clegg? He certainly did stick to the script - had about three big autocue screens in front of him as he walked around. I saw an advance copy of the speech, and he read it word for word.
