Sarah's Law?

What if a woman goes to the Police about her new boyfriend, they run the check, and he turns out to have no convictions for sex offences, though a conviction for murdering his former girlfriend?

And what about a father's right to check up on his children's mother's new boyfriend? The presence of the natural father, especially when married to the mother, is far and away the most effective factor in preventing abuse.

But even these are not the biggest questions about “Sarah’s Law”, which relates to the fact that it has never been established that Sarah Payne was sexually assaulted at all.
