Oxbridge: Who Cares?

“Oxbridge admissions” are now the subject of political and media hand-wringing on at least a weekly basis. Who cares? And why? I am very happy for anyone who went or who goes to Oxford or Cambridge. But they include ninety-five Etonians per year. How good can the ninety-fifth best Etonian is his year possibly be?
