The Anbar "Achievement"

Well, whoopee!

Why do you think that was ever an "insurgency" in the first place? An "insurgency" against what? An "insurgency" against whom?

And who do you think that the people of a place that could produce such an "insurgency" will now vote for?

  1. There never was an insurgency in Iraq. It was just a myth devised by the MSM that for no very obvious reason was accepted by the military as fact. Now that the terrorists have been cleared out, the voters in Anbar can vote for whoever they jolly well want. Such is the beauty of democracy! (I'm not a huge fan myself, but it's hard to see how this is not in America's interests, or ours - at least in the short term.)
