Isabel Oakeshott describes herself as an "expat", like those people who foreswore Britain for Spain because they were sick of immigrants.

They rarely learned Spanish, and there is no reason to assume that Oakeshott has any intention of learning Arabic. But she would get by in Dubai, at least, albeit on exactly the principle that she decried here.

Oakeshott and Richard Tice should, however, be aware that sex outside marriage was illegal in the United Arab Emirates. Be careful to respect the local culture. We would not want to hear of your arrest. Would we?
