It is true that there are knives in every kitchen, but there is alcohol in more than half of those in this country, yet we do not let children buy it legally, and at least in theory their use of it in the home is supervised. We define children as anyone under 18.
Likewise, if Keir Starmer does not want 17-year-olds to be able to buy knives, then why does he want 16-year-olds to have the vote? Politicians blamed social media for the murder of Sir David Amess, and now they are blaming Amazon for the Southport murders.
At the same time, they are reclassifying obviously drugged up behaviour as terrorism rather than address its real cause even while having to admit that there was no political ideology behind it, and they are therefore having to reclassify as extremism the state of being a "loner" or a "misfit", which it is not clear that Axel Rudakubana was.
A misfit from what?
