Numerous members of both Houses of Parliament, many of them highly distinguished, are among those who have just finished celebrating the fortieth anniversary of the election of Nick Brown.
If you believed the rumours, then you would have to believe that an event in honour of such a person could have drawn such a crowd.
You would also have to believe that the last six Labour Leaders, including two Prime Ministers and including the present Leader, had engaged such a person as Chief Whip.
No, nor do I. Justice for Brown is long overdue.
They'll give him a peerage just before the election.
